By developing advanced solar panel testing equipment, the company is contributing to a more sustainable future.
Procurement
Due to strong growth in the solar market and the resulting growth of our company, we are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager. He/she will lead an operational buyer and be responsible for both direct and indirect expenditures. The Procurement Manager reports to the COO and is part of the Equipment Management Team.
Function
As Procurement Manager, you will work closely with the Equipment Management Team to assess how to improve our processes to reliably meet growing market demand. You will also liaise with our assembly partner in the Czech Republic to discuss product progress and find solutions to any production delays.
You will also work with our engineers to evaluate various technical options based on factors such as delivery time, price and quality during the product life cycle to select the most appropriate solution. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating a parts schedule with lead times so that we can forecast and procure items in advance to meet future customer orders over the next two years. Finally, provide input on cost and delivery time to the sales team when developing new proposals.
In this position, you will have numerous opportunities to make a positive change within our organization. As head of procurement, you will play a central role in shaping our internal processes and procurement structure based on your vision. With current spending of €4 – 5 million, we expect significant growth, offering further opportunities for expansion. Your areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, circuit boards for electronics, LED lighting, built-in cabinets, logistics and indirect purchasing once strategic relationships with suppliers have been established.
As expected within a scale-up organization, you will be responsible for fundamental procurement tasks, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management (to be developed), purchase order processing (in collaboration with the operational buyer) and inventory management.
Profile
- HBO/WO education/thought level
- NEVI I
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement within a technical environment
- Experience in sourcing your own designs
- Able to take ownership of projects from start to finish
- Experience in outsourcing engineering activities
- Experience in purchasing assemblies
- Experience in purchasing electronic components
Offer
- Starting salary up to about €75,000 gross per year, depending on experience and know-how
