You will be working in a close team with 4 other tactical buyers each with their own discipline and you will be reporting to the Procurement Manager. Your discipline will be mechanical, machining and constructions. As a tactical buyer you will be closely involved through the whole process. Your stakeholders will be sales, engineering, Quality Control, and off course your suppliers. You will create the sourcing strategy for all commodities within your discipline. Your manager will assist you when needed, but in principal you call the shots and make it happen.
The manufacturing of the equipment happens right outside your building, so you are able to see and feel what you have been working on. Expectations are high, escalations occur regularly and you will have to manage and mitigate the risks and make sure production can continue. To be successful in this job you need to be flexible, creative and you need to have a large amount of perseverance.
- HBO preferably in a technical field
- Experience with mechanical procurement activities
- Well-developed vendor management experience
- Willingness to travel 3 to 4 times per year
- Salary €75.000
- 40 holidays
- 50/50 pension schema
