Instrumentation engineer a.i. (Antwerpen)

Company is active in the petrochemical industry.

ASSIGNMENT

Projects you will come to work on have values up to appr. € 40 mio. You will be involved in the tender and design phases of projects, in which phases you discuss with the customer about the specifications for the instrumentation, control- and electr(on)ic systems that are needed in the process equipment. Thereafter you will draft these specifications, make the planning, and lead the instrumentation & process control designers. You divide the work packages among the designers, help and coach them where needed and check their calculations and designs. Ultimately it is you who is responsible for the timely delivery of the work packages assigned to you.

You actively steer on planning and manhours against budget and discuss any deviations with the project manager. Ofcourse you also think of- and implement mitigating actions in case budgets are exceeded .

The main stakeholders in the organization are the project managers and the engineers for Piping, E and Civil.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor in Process Control, Process technology, Electromechanics or equivalent
• Experience with Feed / FEL processes, deliverables and fieldinstrumentation
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, system architecture, FAT & SAT procedures, control & safeguarding narratives, etc.
• Strong command of English (Dutch is an advantage)
• Work permit for the EU.

OFFER

Full-time assignment in Antwerp, starting asap, with an initial contract period of 6 months.
