The Netherlands office is presently mainly active as EPC/EPCM contractor in the building industry, working for accounts like Schiphol and Shell Retail. The Dutch organization is based in the Hague and counts appr. 60 persons. The company manages projects with a value of tens of millions Euro’s.

Tasks
You report into the country construction manager.
Your role is to provide project management support for the presently running building projects. You are expected to interface with both customers and subcontractors and have full ultimate responsibility for the project on site / delivery.
Your main task will be the day-to-day management of the project on behalf of the customer and the supervision and management of subcontractors. You will also manage your project team and the resource planning process to deliver to client expectations while meeting and/or exceeding profitability targets. Part thereof is the monitoring of project team performance and taking corrective action if meeded.
Monitoring of financial performance is in line with the principal’s financial reporting and project review standards. Frequent and detailed reporting towards the customer is needed to assure the customer that the project is well managed on all relevant aspects: time, quality, safety, health, environment, organization, information and cost. Any deviations from the projectplan require immediate implementation of scheduled countermeasures and early reporting into management and customer. In fact you ensure that the project is planned and structured for success.
In case a new project is initialized, you are expected to draft a projectplan that gets full approval of all relevant stakeholders, consequently select suppliers and contractors, set up the construction logistics, and organize the design approach.
You may be asked to supervise and manage projects in the entire Benelux region.
