Family business with over 900 employees, 6 production locations (incl. 2 main sites, 1 of which is in Almere) for the production and delivery of fresh produce to supermarkets etc.
You are based at the Almere location but also work for the other main location in Uden.
Tasks
The purchasing department consists of the purchasing manager with 2 vacant positions, one operational and one more tactical. A new colleague is currently being recruited for one of the 2 positions; the other is temporarily vacant due to pregnancy.
In the position, you will initially focus on operational as well as tactical procurement.
Tactical duties focus on managing relationships with approximately 200 suppliers:
- Negotiate and draft or modify contracts
- Retrieve forecasts internally and share with suppliers
- You will prepare and discuss reports with key stakeholders.
Operational tasks include:
- Request new specifications, prices, etc.
- Update prices, item numbers, delivery dates, etc. in AFAS
- Somewhat expediting (chasing deliveries).
Your profile
- HBO work/thought level
- You preferably have experience in the industrial food sector
- You have relevant purchasing experience
- You speak and write good Dutch and English
Offer
- This is a secondment assignment through the end of September 2024
- Your commitment: 4 or 5 days/week
- First period full-time on location. After the induction period, limited work from home (approx. 1 day/week) is possible
- A salary of max. €4,500 gross/month on FT basis
- 25 vacation days based on full-time employment
- Travel allowance based on €0.23/km.
