Where and when necessary, we offer support to our interim managers in the form of advice based on our substantive procurement experience (shadow management). As a customer, you will not notice much of this; this takes place behind the scenes.
With you, the client, we keep in close contact about the progress of the assignment. Should issues arise, we are informed early on and can help or intervene at the stage when adjustments can still be made.
If you wish, we will look with you, give advice and help you make the right choices.
We present both freelancers/SMPs and candidates we second for the duration of the assignment. For us, the key here is to find the candidate who fits the job well and stays within budget.
It is up to us to select the right interim professional based on characteristics such as background, experience, skills, procurement knowledge, reputation and cost. You will not notice substantively whether a candidate is seconded or working on a ZZP basis.
In the case of secondees, however, arrangements can often be made for a possible takeover of the candidate upon proven suitability.
If you are considering hiring a procurement professional on a permanent basis over time and already have work for which you need temporary support, we can second a procurement professional to you for an initial period. By taking them on our payroll (i.e., seconding them to you), we offer you the flexibility you are looking for to make your decision, regarding filling the position on a permanent basis, as soon as you feel comfortable with it. It also gives you the opportunity to see if the seconded buyer in question is a good fit for your organization.
Do you need a temporary procurement professional for a project? Extra capacity or specialist knowledge for e.g. the purchase and implementation of a complex application (e.g. ERP, WMS, PLM), for supervising a large tender (e.g. tendering for a European tender), for an NPI project or for the purchase and construction of a large investment (building, production line, relocation), then we provide the right expertise in the form of the interim procurement professional who will support you in this.
We are especially strong when The combination of engineering and procurement is something we are good at, think interim managers who can interpret mechanical drawings or E-schemes, or have knowledge of the supply market for I/Cs, or have specific expertise in the procurement of machine components, equipment, Capex, subcontracting or MRO. In industrial sectors such as offshore, construction, technical services, manufacturing, food, pharma, high-tech, wind/energy.
Client cases
Feedback we get from clients and procurement professionals is mainly that we know the job market for procurement positions in industry and construction like no other and have the right expertise to advise on the right approach around a vacancy or interim assignment.
