Procurement
The procurement team is led by the director of procurement, who leads 4 teams:
- Vessel goods & Services operations, a team lead with 6 operational buyers
- Vessel goods & Services contracting, a team lead with 7 tactical buyers
- Subcontracting & Projects operations, a team lead with 3 operational buyers
- Subcontracting & Projects, a team lead with 8 contract engineers, w.v. 2 vacancies
Function
As a Contract Engineer, you will be responsible for executing the tender and contracting process.
Working with internal clients, you will establish requirements for the procurement of goods, materials and services, developing a contracting strategy based on value, risk, market conditions and internal guidelines.
You select suppliers, conduct pre-qualifications and evaluations, and coordinate the submission of procurement packages, including draft agreements and framework contracts.
You then prepare bid evaluations for internal approval.
You negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers in cooperation with the legal department, after which you award the contract or framework agreement.
Projects range from installing deepwater pipelines for oil and gas fields to removing old offshore platforms, using advanced technologies. The combination of technically challenging projects and negotiations with global suppliers makes this role unique. Profile
- Bachelors working/thinking level
- Tactical procurement experience in a technical environment
- Strong communicator and excellent at stakeholder management
- Willing to travel

- Command of Dutch language is a plus
Offer
- This is a full-time position
- Salary up to €85,000 gross per year depending on knowledge and experience
