Principal
Global family-owned company active in the maritime sector. Owns about 10 ships, has about 2,500 employees and offices in 7 countries.
Function
You will report to the team lead VGS (Vessels, Goods and Services) and will work in a team of 8 buyers.
You will work on behalf of many staff departments (IT, HR, finance, Projects and Operations etc.) and take care of the procurement of all IT related items, except for complex Software licenses such as those from Microsoft, Oracle (which IT does itself), so think IT Hardware & Infrastructure, IT services. You also do vendor management for strategic IT vendors. Your focus is further on risk management and escalation management.
You position yourself as an advisor for all IT-related issues and projects and do stakeholder management for IT-related topics.
Job Requirements
- You have a BSc degree
- Extensive experience with IT procurement at the tactical/strategic level
- Good knowledge of IT-related contract forms
- Excellent communication skills and organizational sensitivity
- Strong communicator
- Full-time position.
Offer
- This is a full-time position
- Salary up to €85,000 gross per year depending on knowledge and experience
- 30 vacation days
- Work from home 1 day a week (not on Fridays)
