Turnover is close to €300 mi. and gross profit is about 10% of sales ! The company designs and builds in-house and has a design department of 40 m/f. It has 3 branches, above Leiden, above Rotterdam and in Breda. The company is ISO9001 certified and works with Business Central as its ERP system.

Function
You will report to the Director of Business Spaces who is also a member of the Executive Board and are the only buyer in the organization and they want to keep it that way. In fact, procurement is done by the BUs themselves. In your role, you will focus on supporting-and giving direction to-the procurement function. Consider:
- Collaborate with management on strategy and planning
- Train colleagues on how to work with suppliers and subcontractors and on theoretical purchasing knowledge
- Design of standard procurement processes i.c.w. the BUs, aimed among other things at simplifying collaboration with suppliers and subcontractors
- Preparation of templates for RFQs and contracts, including for collaboration with strategic partners
- Mapping the supply market for materials and of subcontractors (advising towards the BUs), knowing the “cost drivers” in the “supply chains
- Lean working, innovation, continuous improvement
- Parametric design (this goes beyond BIM), partners must be able to participate in this
- Bringing sustainability throughout the “supply chain.
Examples of the activities you pick up concretely include creating a dashboard for project evaluations and then especially focusing on partners and on quality and holding colleagues accountable internally for the quality delivered by partners. And preparing an action-oriented procurement annual plan, based on the strategic business plan, in close cooperation with internal stakeholders.
Your profile
- HBO work/thought level
- Extensive experience with procurement in a project organization (in construction is a plus)
- Intrinsic driver for sustainability and technological developments
- Very thorough knowledge of procurement theory
- You make an impact
- Dutch speaking
- Available 4 or 5 days/week.
Offer
- Salary up to €90,000 gross per year, depending on your experience and knowledge
- Profit sharing max. 1 monthly salary, depending on your- and company performance (full payout in 2022 and 2023)
